East Hollywood Clean Up Day!
Imagine waking up on a Saturday morning to keep the promise in its place. Everyday is a call of duty to serve a greater purpose for the common good.
The monthly East Hollywood Neighborhood Clean Up Day was fun and memorable. I enjoyed recruiting community volunteers to make things better than we found them before. The clean up was sponsored by Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell, East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, LAPD Police Activities League, and by Immigrants Charitable Foundation.
Volunteers and neighbors joined in dozens to beautify the Mariposa Ave and keep the monthly tradition at float and intact. I think the clean up was a common effort to keep the momentum in place for everyone's awareness of keeping Los Angeles clean and safe.
